Dear teacher:
It will be cold during the new year days. Be careful for the cold weather and your health. It is coming closer to the end of the semester. I found your course very profound. The vocabulary and phrases you use are very neat and elegant. Sometimes I hardly express my thoughts completely and gracefully as well, especially when conduct the offical stuff. I love your handouts. I think they are so useful and beneficial in the daily life. But the point is that I cannot digest them in such a short time even I tried my best to concentrate in the class. In the past, I didn't touch the concepts which you gave. And some of them are a little bit abstract. I think this is because I have too less practical experiences. Therefore, I hope teacher can give me some suggestions about digesting your precious courses. I think it is a good idea that learning from doing practically. For instance, you can suggest me some magazines. And I can analyze the content of the magazines with your gorgeous information. It will be fantastic if I can dominate the skills which you taught. Anticipate your reply sinerely and happy new year.

Dear Vincent,

Please accept my apology for responding your message so late.

It is nice to see you're so interested in this course. Quoting some famous writer as saying that negotiation is the symbolic representation of human civilization, I totally agree to your insight that negotiation is an indispensable skill and attitude in our everyday life -- and if you want to lead a happy life, you must master it.

I understand my text can be a bit difficult for you to comprehend. It is primarily because most of you are still novices in either your career or social life. And you have not quite appreciated the value of negotiations as a consummate way of communication among human beings.

As to the magazines you mentioned, I am afraid that I do not know any of them which is appropriate for you. Most of them I know are business-oriented teaching you how to negotiate a business deal or prices.

However, I would recommend that remember those general guidelines raised in my text, and develop those corresponding languages of your own. I don't think negotiation is so complicated and profound that you have to read a lot of materials. All you have to do is bear in mind a few simple rules and procedures, which I covered in class, and apply them to your everyday dealings -- make them habits in you life.
